Financial Power Trader at Bixia in Växjö

Combine your interest in the financial electricity market with an exciting and business-oriented role as a Financial Power Trader at Bixia in Växjö!

As a Financial Power Trader at Bixia, you will play a central role in our financial electricity trading. You will work closely with the market in a varied and stimulating everyday life where operational trading at the desk is a natural part of the job. The role combines financial analysis, portfolio management, and business, with a clear connection to the development of the electricity market.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing our financial flows with the support of quantitative analysis, as well as managing Bixia's internal power portfolios. You will also contribute with analyses, reporting, and decision support to the organization. Flexibility and collaboration are important parts of the assignment, where you will support colleagues in areas such as analysis and follow-up when needed.

Bixia is in a growth phase, and we are now strengthening our team in electricity trading. Our workplace is located in modern premises at the World Trade Center in Växjö, which exudes an inspiring atmosphere. We are now looking for the next star who wants to help develop our financial trading in line with the market.

Your main tasks:

  • Understand, analyze, and manage Bixia's financial flows
  • Operationally execute financial trading according to established strategies and routines
  • Manage and develop Bixia's internal power portfolios
  • Contribute with analysis, follow-up, and reporting related to trading and results

Who are you?

To thrive and succeed in the role of Financial Power Trader, you have a genuine interest in financial markets and a strong desire to do business. You work independently, structured, and meticulously, while also being able to collaborate and communicate easily with others. You have good analytical skills and thrive in a dynamic environment where conditions can change rapidly.

We would like you to have:

  • A university degree in mathematics, economics, or equivalent
  • Preferably a few years of experience in similar work within financial trading or analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in making well-founded decisions
  • Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • A business-oriented approach and driven by achieving set goals and results

About Bixia

At Bixia, we work to increase the share of locally produced and renewable electricity. By developing sustainable energy services and purchasing electricity from local producers, we contribute to both a better climate and a stronger local economy. The compensation goes directly back to the producers, enabling investments in more renewable electricity.
